Ro-Ro, Turkey\u2019s largest operator of freight ferry routes, undergoing a transformation in dry dock at the Gemak Group of Companies shipyard in Turkey.<\/strong><\/p><p>The 2008-built vessel is being lengthened by 30 metres and once completed its capacity will be boosted to hold 55 more trailers.<\/p><p>The ship is the first of U.N. Ro-Ro vessels to feature the DFDS livery.<\/p><p>To remind, Danish shipping and logistics company DFDS closed the acquisition of 98.8% of U.N. Ro-Ro at the beginning of June.<\/p><p>The integration process of the two companies is expected to be finalized by the end of the year.<\/p><p>UN Karadeniz is expected to complete its transformation in the second half of September when it will go back on its route.<\/p><p>U.N. Ro-Ro operates five freight shipping routes connecting Turkey with Italy and France.
